    It's not that much of a problem in my opinion, since solutions can work on different systems.

    @Jilano YO SMARTASS, WHAT ABOUT IF I TELL YOU UBUNTU COMMUNITY CAN'T SUPPORT ITSELF

    @lun0 Hi there. I would then reply that you seem angry and not very open to others' opinion. After that, I would let you cool down for a bit.

    By the way, that's the case in every community.

    @Jilano and this is my opinion, 99% of posts there are complete garbage stream and polutes results

    another point i'm gonna make, I CAME HERE FOR RANTING, NOT MAKING SOLUTIONS, they are made on queries with "-ubuntu"

    @lun0 then don’t use ubuntu 🤷‍♂️
    Not sure what you want out of this, so keep on ranting!

    You seem to know nothing about other Linux distributions
    And btw, you need to add distribution name to search query only of you're not running Linux at first place(say you're querying from windows/Mac)

    Whenever I search from my Arch machine, I never need to add Linux name in search query

    So stop being a little crybaby please

    @FancyDeveloper

    never assume about someone's experience from lack of information.

    cry me a river.

    first of all, search engine doesn't guarantee you don't get such links, so more or less this has nothing to do with specifying distro name.

    secondly: i use linux since FC4 and Mandrake(now Mandriva) existed. probably i've tried much more distros and systems than u did (let's assume, ok?). in account: slackware, debian, gentoo (from stage 3), FreeBSD, solaris, etc (including ubuntu). i could keep goin.

    and last but not least: i bet there are a lot of people feeling that way
