Oh Arch head
Oh Raven head
Oh Linux fanbase
I want to confess. Please here me!
Today my windows FINALLY successfully update. I was happy that when in an accident I'll require to boot in Windows I'll have less fear of random and sudden restart and applying of updates. But oh great men, I fouled this fearlessness to a greater extend. I was just checking the change logs and, this 01:57 hrs, 3 hrs later, I find myself hearing music on groove music, liking the integration of cortana with edge, groove music, settings and just all....

It's not that I'm loving 'it' more than GNU/Linux but my current installation of GNU/Linux has been fucked so hard by me already that it needs nothing but a reinstall... I'd like to spend a few more time with Windows before I go to bed(I'm sitting on my bed already tho) and promise to never see Windows this way ever again.
I promise

Will I be forgiven?

If you definitively move away from that mal/spyware and go towards a FOSS system, yeah, forgivement (don't think that's a word but fuck it) will exist for you ;)

Looks like Cortana has succumbed you into her will.. it shall only be possible to change by sprinkling some BSOD here and there, and having you take a look at the network traffic to Microsoft.. the price you're paying for all that data-driven goodness šŸ˜Š

Welcome to a real OS šŸ˜†

Apart from the data and privacy rubbish, Windows 10 is a great OS with a great UX for everyday stuff. It isn't a crime to like something that's actually well made.

Hey buddy it hear me not here me! What ever you wrote after that can even be auto corrected. Try https://dummies.com/software/... šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

@sak96 it's "it's", not "it" and can also be autocorrected šŸ˜Š

@Haxk20 only if he reverts his choice to Arch and only uses Windows on the hosts that have NvuDiA crap in it (where being unable to install Linux is reasonable IMO) or in a dualboot where Windows is only used for gaming. Otherwise, divine punishment shall be given in the form of BSOD, excessive data mining and bugs disguised as features!

@Condor well I use Ubuntu for Nvidia.
Also, as specified in the rant, I promised to go back to normal mode(Linux lover) as soon as I get back to work at morning... So I'm back :)

@Haxk20 you can be sure that forgiving me is no bad ;)

@Haxk20 I now feel that there must be a good integrity between the different applications in the linix distros too...

Then probably none could beat it...

Also, an assistant will make it even better. Except this is just my idea and I could work on it due my lack of knowledge in AI and the shit is proprietary :(

@gitlog A harmony across Linux applications and particularly distributions and their package managers would be nothing short of amazing.. the divergence across distributions in package managers, release schemes and design choices is a real pain in the ass. But that's the consequence of choice.

On its own Linux is just a kernel and GNU is just a userland, which just like all programs is timely released as different versions.. it's up to the distributors to choose when they'll compile and package a utility's package versions. In Arch it's a matter of hours, on Debian it can take years...

A virtual assistant would be great to have! And I'd choose it over my beloved @GoogleAssistant any day. Heck, I'd even rename that account to the FOSS-friendly assistant whenever I find any!
