!rant

Many dev ranting that apple is reached $1T by selling stupid connector's...... and other shit.

I am not apple product owner.

But Today I want to salute steve jobs.
A person without college degree,drug addiction,guilt of adopted son,financial issue's without any god father........................

Created one company.

Kicked out from own company.

Joinned again.

developed such policy in company that every one should follow.

took retirement due to cancer and all right's transfer to A Gay CEO.

and
now that company reached $1T.

Really fucking motivational thing.
Nothing is impossible.

    Say what you want about apple but you have to admit Steve is someone worth looking up to.

    Have mixed feelings about this one. I kinda agree with this rant but looking at apple morally, I think they fucked up years ago.

    @undef Not apple fan boy but steve jobs fan.

    Created Pixar also ;)

    @Maartz

    I can re-write whole bio of steve.

    But

    most of developer's already know most of things about him.

    Yeah mad respect for the guy who washed his feet in the toilet water who thought his diet mad wit so he didn't need to shower, decided he didn't need doctors to cure his cancer, had a daughter he didn't want to acknowledge his daughter (Lisa) until they had a DNA test, and would spontaneously fire his employees for no reason because of his temper.

    This is all from the biography and there are many more examples of him being not a very good example to follow

    @inaba
    Every one how black corner in there life.
    Once you reached in spot light then people become aware of it.
  • 2
    @import-fun Except these things happened while he was in the spotlight. But none of that matters. The guy was a massive cunt.
  • 1
    @undef Also reminder that there's a huge chance he was aware of the slave labour making Apple's products.

    Accepted

    Still his fanπŸ˜‚

    @inaba in mindhunter they said something like this:
    - how sociopath could be a President?
    - how not sociopath could be

    I feel like man in charge of companies doesn't care about people, because they are to small, and don't even show in statistics and this beautiful social movements like fair trade etc. Come from not good hearths, but calculation how society will respond. So we get as much good as we asked for and as much shit as we allowed.

    I don't think that there is anyone who is crystal clear and it's good idea to follow his steps, more like it's good idea to be inspired by some action of a lot of people

    I agree with this but why the emphasis on a *gay* CEO?
  • 0
    @j4cobgarby
    At least Indian society not accepting gay's to join their table.
    Yes on some places this is exceptional, We accept gay friends.

    And Steve jobs gave priority to quality rather than fucking gender racism.

    Yup, Jobs is a great role model. Just ask the guy he stole a kidney from, after he let the cancer grow refusing treatments.

    Keep in mind, the next person who'll screw you over for personal gain is following in his footsteps too, and is way ahead of you. Show him respect when that'll happen.

    @soulsuke I wonder what the workers at foxconn thinks about him

    "big artists copy, great artists steal" (s. jobs... ehm pablo picasso)
  • 3
    Tim Cook came out of the closet after Jobs died. There was a possibility Jobs did not know of Cook's sexual orientation.

    Also, as a developer, I hate it when people talk about Jobs and not Wozniak. Yes, Jobs was an amazing orator and could sell, but Wozniak did a lot of work Jobs is given credit for.
  • 3
    @drGreat5 that's what I was about to say. I'm not hating Jobs, I think he did a lot for the company, but Woz is really underappreciated.

    I rant about FB going from $20 to $200... Should've bought shares even if I don't really use it.

    Interestingly I own a few Apple shares because I thought they're a nice cash cow.

    Sometimes it's not about the tech, it's just cashing in on what everyone else wants
  • 2
    No love for the engineers that actually made it happen, either.
  • 2
    @drGreat5 jobs is just a evil marketing brainwasher genius
  • 2
    @segfault0xff No let's forget the people that actually made the products, and forget the people that (under inhumane conditions) actually assembled the phones. Let's instead form a cult around a smelly guy who threw temper tantrums
  • 1
    @dontbeevil But he was very good at it. You should give him credit for that. The iDevices wouldn't have sold that well without him

    @drGreat5

    Argument is life long.
    I am a developer and freelancer ,I know how much struggle it will need to developed such i ecosystem.
    But
    Development is just a 20-40% part ,main thing is connection with people marketing.

    He was legend in that.
  • 1
    @drGreat5 yeah i said that was a genius in that
  • 1
    So when ya gonna start fucking everyone over for your personal gain? Cause that’s what he role modeled. It doesn’t matter your background as long as you are absolutely ruthless and willing to lie at every turn. Then you can get rich.
