3. Pretty much everything in Electron
4. “Simple” and “minimalistic” programming languages

I don't understand the move for everything as an Electron app. 200MB runtime minimum for every single app (pretty much a complete web browser for ever app). It's like Java desktop apps all over again, but worse!

This can't be the state of cross-platform desktops in 2018, but it is.
