Ads finance some services, no ads == no money for them, as awful as ads can be. I'd be happy to support those services directly rather than having to endure ads.

Here I don't know what part Google will grab for themselves so I remain sceptical.

Paying not to see ads. Meh.

Paying not to have my data tracked and harvest? That's more interesting.

Gives me the choice of being the customer or the product.

Of course, I suspect that the take up would be vanishingly small---which is why no-one will offer it.

Would be fun to have a value put on how much my data is worth to them, though.
