    Nice setup, by the way. I quit elike your wallpaper!

    @devTea I probably shouldn't show you my rig then. You'd most likely faint.

    What theme have you applied to vscode?
  • 2
    @subatomic lemme get back to you on that. I think it's darcula with material icons, but I may be wrong

    @beggarboy *catches*

    That's a nice machine you've got there. We have some similar parts but mine definitely needs a little upgrade!

    PS: Hope you won't stay there for too long!

    @Jilano I have plans to go full SSD some day and transition the HDDs over to a NAS.

    Also when Series 11 (20) drops I'll snatch a second 1080(Ti) probably.
  • 5
    @beggarboy cool setups, other than old i7 and Z97 board, I haven't really tried how fast unlocked processors. Other than that it looks really good
  • 2
    @beggarboy Yeah, I'm definitely eyeballing these tasty M.2 SSD!

    But considering that our CPU is getting old, I'm probably going to change everything (maybe even check the Red team, who knows, haha)

    @beggarboy why you use server in home ?
  • 2
    @import-fun Outsourcing Noise and because I am *literally* running out of space in my case.
  • 2
    @Jilano I'll let the i7 run for a while because they are good boyes. It Auto OCs to 4.4Ghz anyway if needed and if I really want more punch I can clock it up to 5Ghz I am sure.

    @beggarboy

    *out of space*

    yes I can literly fly out of space with that system :D ;)

    if possible post pic of your server
  • 6
    @Jilano PCIE slot SSD looks nicer tho, haven't check it's price yet
  • 2
    @devTea Oh? I thought they were the same, honestly. At least when I see something along the lines: "SSD M.2 NVMe" etc.

    So correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm looking at this kind of thing: https://amazon.co.uk/Samsung-V-NAND...

    "read/write speeds of up to 3, 500/2, 700 MB/s" makes me feel things down there.
  • 2
    @import-fun The NAS is a future project.
    Can't post any pictures of the rig because something goes wrong when Google Photos hands the picture over to devRant.
    Since I am in the hospital until monday I can't take any right now, sorry. 😄

    @Jilano the good thing with it is that probably compatible with laptop so you could swap between them. I've seen the performance of this. And probably differents with the M2 *probably*
