wowotek58166y@Alice i don't take any screenshot but, i noticed @bigus-dickus pict are not shown, i thought he was deleted, but now it appear.
i don't care anyway. -
@wowotek Because it looks like Asian girls dressed up in cotton candy are making a parody of late 90s Britney Spears.
Don't mean to shit over someone else's favorite genre, just what it feels like to me personally.
Personally more of a fan of N'To, Worakls and other electronic/melodic techno, Infected Mushroom & Astrix and other Psy, various classical composers, a bit of lowfi/electroswing/jazzy hiphop, and the kind of harder stuff that can only be enjoyed with cognac and cheese toast.
Over the years I've learned that sometimes genres I hated at first become awesome later, like how I mostly listened to metal in the 90s/early 2000s and hated techno, now I can appreciate both — and everything in between from Vivaldi to Prototyperaptor to LukHash to Gramatik to 200bpm darkpsy.
Patterns in my brain have unlocked, like how certain tastes require practice to appreciate.
I've noticed that I do need a certain complexity in music to keep my brain from yawning though.
To me kpop still seems boring, weird, corny and fake, a bit simplistic and one dimensional.
But again, maybe I've just not learned hear what is good about it. -
wowotek58166y@bittersweet Are you into psychedelic music ? damn that bring me back my memory.
anyway. actually i am a big metal music lover, metalcore and etc, and maybe that's why i like trap, *-step, house music too which have beat-and-breakdown kinda thing. for k-pop music, i like specific kind of group and music. i found team-and-music-synchronization of the group dance is interesting and amusing, for example i really like GFriend and BTS for that exact definition.
i'm starting to like K-POP when i watched GFriend behind the scene videos which show their humbleness and care to their fans not like the majority of K-POP idol out there. and then my list keep growing after that.
