    just check the processes that are running when Chrome is on.

    Firefox does almost the same.

    Chrome uses different processes so that data in one tab can't access data from another tab.... It's secure....

    @playmast3r but it takes 4GB in RAM. Efficiency vs. security... but why not both? Thousands of devs at Google researching intelligent-cars but not doing the same for intelligent browsers. At least I didn't noticed improvements since 2 years ago.

    @pampurio yes u do.... If u keep tabs in different processes, u can't access data of one tab from another.....
    More number of extensions and tabs open means chrome will eat more space.
