Anti change? We as developers are most definitely not anti change.
You can be sure af that we are anti stupid. We got no room for that sjw bullshit in this field. -
Weird, I'm not for or against at the moment, but I have some time for it for sure. Maybe the people who are upset need to manage their time better? Is that what you're saying?
-
@AleCx04 Exactly... We get enough of that shit with the female only garbage we get force fed telling us we're a horrible field for being mainly males lmao

feroza9756y@theapemachine Templates, generics, traits, class-based inheritance.. Things that are expected from modern programming languages and Go lacks. It has been oversimplified to the point where it makes no sense.
-
@Stuxnet indeed. I hate to see that shit in science since it makes no sense here and I do believe that real engineers would not be bothered by such petty and miniscule details.

@theapemachine underneath every post you see there is a reply button. Use it my dude otherwise the other people will never be able to tell who you are talking to other than by seeing comments or by inferring from the context of your post. And no, that is not exactly what I meant from my earlier post. Engineers are scientists, and we have no room for such terms, slave and master are terms which have a meaning inside development which is different from whatever a sjw wants to believe it is. Changing it does not involve progress or an open mentality or a need for change.

Weird, haven't been on this for a while, we're all anti-change now? Something something python... Can we talk about coding more? I've recently gone rogue in my C# based company to write new projects in go 🙂
