GUYS I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE:

Apparently Windows Explorer is an internet browser and a lot of websites only work on it

I fucking hate this dude, he CLEARLY doesn't know what he's talking about

Not endorsing his stupidity, but wasn’t that the basis of the DOJ antitrust decision against Microsoft in the 90s? That users couldn’t tell the difference between Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, ergo they supposedly wouldn’t know they had options?

@Kaji I wasn't alive during that time so I can't comment on that. And I will say that I've heard a few people call it Windows Explorer before, but this was coming from someone who says he knows every component of Windows' function inside and out (I wish I was kidding).

I just think it's funny as hell that there are people who ACTUALLY believe that "most sites only work on IE" (if only he got the IE part right..)

Dude also swears Alienware systems are the BEST computers ever and nothing is better

So, I just want to say right now that I use Google Ultron for a browser. It's what NASA uses. 's like Chrome but better

@JoshBent I just reread all of those greentexts a few days ago, I fucking love them

Windows explorer does use internet explorer components for rendering views, or at least it did.

    So he isn't exactly wrong.
He just isn't right, either, especially not in the way he thinks he is.

@Nanos I've personally never seen one that ONLY works in IE (but I don't work in web development), but I don't doubt that they exist. He just made it seem like the big name sites only work in IE
