It's a phase. It's alright. You'll get over it. Most of us have gone through that phase.

When my freelance clients need a database but don’t have a $8/mo to pay for VPS, I just stick to php and it reduces monthly cost down to $1.5/mo. Php hosting is usually a lot cheaper.

But that’s the only excuse and I’ll be doing that only on low budget one-day projects only available to sole proprietors. If you own a co ltd, I’m not going to do this, you should pay for VPS.
