Why do I hate my extended family coming over for lunch and dinner you ask?

> kids, who will ruin the remote by pressing the keys so hard, I'll have to get a new remote.

> NO PEACE. I'll have to move from my comfort spot to another spot where, again kids, will come and ask if I have "GAMES" in my mobile or laptop

> and this happened after lunch while watching a movie which I never watched before, my imbecile cousin decides to spoil the entire movie just like that, like, FUCK YO, LIKE REALLY, I KNOW YOU'RE MY RELATIVE IN SOME WAY, BUT FUUUUUUCK YOUUUUUU, spoilers is one of the things I cannot stand.

> I really do not like to be annoyed again and again and again and again, so please stop asking me if I want to have lunch or dinner with everyone because I really HATE the talk during that time.

> I leave my laptop for one microsecond and they surround it like scavengers, I MEAN FOR FUCKS SAKE, GIVE ME MY PRIVACY, (I have my own room, but it's under renovation).

The best I could do was to put on headsets and pretend like I'm working while browsing LinkedIn.

> "Oh I see you have HD TV, but the picture is blurred" NO SHIT, SHERLOCK, It is due to I chose not to buy HD Pack because I live stream HD Channels and cable is a backup

Seriously, one of these days I'll just snap out and throw a fucking tantrum they would never ever like to call me for "FAVORS".

! @nothappy <- Bug fixed, now everything is fine.

    (really hate these occasions, too)

You are being as annoying as they are.
The apple never falls to far from the tree.

Put yourself on their shoes, how they see your reaction to those little actions, how your parents get embarrassed by your asshole attitude.

I bet you were like that as a kid too

    Also, kick your parents out.

@rutee07 I'm afraid that's not how it works

@humblegeek I have a job and I pay my own expenses

@mundo03 you're being like my mother
  • 0
@nothappy that is how you know it is true.

She has all your history, so I rest ny case.
    Stop being an asshole
  • 1
@humblegeek me two, is he not?
  • 2
@humblegeek what's there to assume? I've already said in my previous rants that I'm Indian
  • 1
@mundo03 being honest is now being asshole, isn't it?
  • 1
@humblegeek nope, I pay for my own expenses
  • 0
@nothappy no dude, you are not just talking, you are acting on it, and acting like an asshole. Go ask your mom.

@irene think on how the others see his ranting.

What I do is go say hello, stay, eat, then escape, I do not like my family but I do not treat them like shit.
  • 0
@irene he also said his mom agreed with me though.
  • 0
@irene you don't trust his mom?
  • 1
@irene I think me guessing his mom opinion is a small opening to see the truth.

I do get what you are saying.

I just told my relatives that if I fix their stuff it costs them money per hour. Should they ask how much, I tell them an industry standard hourly rate and they’ll shut up about their outdated computers.

I do help when I see them really struggle I.e. my grandmother having some trouble with logging in on social stuffs and showing her how to use keychain and stuff.

You really just need to communicate clearly that your computer is off limits and you’re there to enjoy a meal and some family time. I used to take a laptop with me and I just turned off, when it got more crowded.

With spoilers - always watch a classic that’s rewatchable with people like that. Home alone, die hard, that tim allen Christmas movie, the grinch or something like that. I have some young relatives and when it’s that time of year I just put on a classic and proceed to have a drink with my uncles.

@mundo03 @-Tor have you guys read 'extended family' term in the rant or what? I never said I hate my mom so stop implying by CONSTANTLY saying my mom agrees with you, and I never say so to anyone for help which is in my boundary, it is the constant 'FAVOUR' they ask and never complete their of favour, so let me educate you that I hate my extended family and not my family. And I don't see shame in living with my parents, just because I have a job in the same city (if tor was implying that)

And in case if the you're wondering what favour I'm calling is, not to annoy me while I'm working remotely or/and not to invite me in any social events including anybody's marriage, I'd rather Netflix and chill with nobody.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm pretty much sad and disappointed in my self because I didn't kept a promise and said friend is alot angry

@-Tor okay and I don't know if you skipped the part where I didn't want to be annonyed, so thank you but no
  • 1
    @-Tor ignorance is bliss
  • 1
@-Tor and I choose the way you described to mask pain over humour
  • 1
@-Tor don't try to , why do you think my username is not happy? Don't guess it's in my previous rants
