this is why we need strong governments that keep corpos in check. south korea is a capitalist dystopia ruled by samsung, and look at their work conditions, especially work hours! that's crazy!

meanwhile, rich european countries have strong bottom left governments, and people there work reduced hours. some of them even 4 days a week for 6 hours a day, and if corpos just so much as think about making it 5 days instead of 4, unions will make it so corpos are handed their own asses in court.

before you say it, soviet union was top left, not bottom left.

the reality is, you always pay some thugs for protection. your street thugs are just thugs, corpos are bigger thugs, and the govt is the biggest thug. I'd rather pay the govt than corpos, because every corp is an autocratic dictatorship by design.

I think too much government. we don't make things anymore. our GDP is negative. businesses are disappearing. things about to get bad

and we got here without European vacations

@BordedDev In the very old United States they did but that went away with time. There are still parts of the world like that where they make you sleep at your post or rent you a cot and you don't really get to go home. Our corporate overlords are doing everything they can to spread that to the United States and Europe again because it's far more economically friendly to do it that way.
