writing a cover letter sucks

I have never used a cover letter, all HR people I know say they skip it, do I am wondering where are you and why you need it :p. I am a Mexican in Germany btw.

@mundo03 I always thought it is good to have one. so I drafted one and changed the fonts of my cv from tnr to inconsolata. right now sipping beer and will send the mail after that.

lol, that is true. Well I got lucky then, this German company took my linkedin as a CV :D

Don't bother. No one reads them. I'm a manager and I have hired numerous people over the years. I have never once read a cover letter. I rip them off and toss them and keep only the CV. All the other managers I know do the same.
