First it was Amazon region-wide service issues. Now it's Cloudflare having issues.

Is it me or are these kind of issues getting more and more common?

Yeah, let's all use the same providers and such. Good idea.

Damn, I'm late to the beginning of the party. I arrived for the sweets.
I immediately thought the same as wojtek. I hope we don't get used to this... Even if this shouldn't be a problem, the problem would be the tendency for less expected quality on such big products...

LOL chatgpt, X and other websites depend on it and are all experiencing service disruptions. Imagine all those vibecoders lol.

It's a good thing devrant is independent! :P

AI is taking over slowly and in a sadistically painful way. =)

@whimsical All our competitors use the same providers as well so it's all good.

@glowFX This cloud thing... uptime 99.99% unless those times where everything is off. lol

I started a petition on charge.org against Cloudflare. It's a Giant Piece of Shale. The harm it does far outweigh any supposed benefit it provides (read none).

We have even some builds failing, because they load dependencies from jitpack.io which depend on cloudflare. Crazy shit, this thing is everywhere. Basically a SPOF

@glowFX Darn, sorry to hear... I wouldn't think it would have such an impact.

@wjhonson haha, change.org, what a site. If you really don't want to change anything 🤣 good joke.
