Fexell6586y@FrodoSwaggins I used Visual Studio as a reference. It couldn't handle a whole lot while connected to my monitor, and it was time to get a new, stationary computer. :-)

kickass19856y@FrodoSwaggins I bought a desktop for same reason and then replaced editor. Everything is much faster. 🤣🤣

Can you post a list with parts of this build? Just curious to see what is this baby made of

Fexell6586y@zemaitis Ryzen 7 2700x, G.Skill Trident Z 3200mhz CL 14, Asus rog crosshair VII hero, MSI rtx 2070 gaming z, 6x corsair ml120 and hx850i. Case is a Lian Li PC-O11. 👍

@FrodoSwaggins yeah no shit man, I have seen some horror stories about vs code and vs just gulping up on ram. You and a lot of us are safe in unix land with vim(curious to know about your workflow with it, if i recall correctly that is your editor of choice and want to know how a cpp dev does it on that side) but them dudes on .net land pretty much have no other choice and the jetbrains suite ain't that much better of an option.
Sick pc op! -
Nice setup.. You'd have more fun building it yourself though...
Visual Studio still the best though 🤘 -
Fexell6586y@MrCSharp I just didn't want to have to ship back defective parts, which there 2: motherboard and case USB hub. Rather get it all in one, functioning piece. I will of course upgrade it myself sometime in the future.

My new computer finally arrived. Now I'll be able to run Visual Studio (which my laptop couldn't while connected to my monitor at the same time). 👍
