I had an intern once who would hold down alt and use the 10 key to compose emails in his native tongue.

I've actually used Google Translate to carry on a discussion with a support Dev in Colombia. I don't speak Spanish (German is my alt lang), and his typed English was as good as my Spanish. Yeah, it took longer to communicate, but it worked.

I occasionally rant in my own language precisely because nobody else knows it.

Hire a personal translator of course or does @linuxxx have a self hosted open source alternative to Google translate? Haha
