@thevariableman i can't believe people still use quora period. Bunch of opinionated assholes. Yeah, like I am gonna take words seriously from a "programming enthusiast", the asshole might as well be an influencer or some weak shit like that.
-
@AleCx04 and if you click on any related posts they force you to download the app. That shit is wtf (worse than Facebook)
-
Quirinus7526y@thevariableman I hate that shit. Every time I start reading something, that happens and I want to strangle whoever did that.

JhonDoe27946yIt's like: "I don't care if you didn't ask specifically about js programming, but I will tell you how bad it is or how bad I think it is, because I FUCKING hate it. Here, I hope you find it useful, I don't use devrant, so I rant in serious answers instead ranting where you should rant"

@nitwhiz I can't agree with that. And this is comming from someone that greatly despises SO. The reason being that in SO they do not get to write entire articles regarding their bullshit opinions. Don't get me wrong, they *are* opinionated. But they don't get as much chance of being opinionated as the other assholes get.
-
@nitwhiz pooh man Medium can be just as bad. Look up Richard Kenneth Eng. That weirdo has been trying on a Smalltalk renaissance(which already failed) and tried to do it by telling others that it is(Smalltalk) far more productive than whatever language stack they have been using. And then(this is where it gets good) references other opinionated articles written by him to try and prove his point. As if his biased bs was not wrong or up for debate.

madumlao4706yThe problem with object oriented programming is that you wanted a banana but you got was a gorilla holding the banana and the entire jungle.
JavaScript: hold my beer. -
Copy pasting is one thing. Understanding what that code does is another thing. I'm not that great in programming, but whenever I need to find snippet or straight just copy from stackOverflow I try to understand how it works and try to add it myself.
TL;DR: Try to understand what that code does before using it.
