    AMP can and should die.

    @rynken What AMP achieves could also be easily achieved by just not sending your whole node_modules folder to the client that visits your website. That's the whole reason.

    Yay! Password fields directly inside phishing mails!
    The world needs that.

    "But why tho"

    "The project enables the creation of websites and ads that are consistently fast, beautiful and high-performing across devices and distribution platforms."

    It just screams Flash 2. Seeing "beautiful" and "ads" in the same same sentence gives me anxiety.

    You know what's beautiful and performant? Plain native html tables, sprinkled with some simple and consistent markup.

    Well if simple HTML is not yet widely supported then why do AMP?

    Burn it, burn it with fire.
    I don't want API calls in my emails 😕

    @h4xx3r don't use it then 🤷🏻‍♀️
    Opened a html mail? Congrats, you already have been tracked before.

    @ltlian what's even more beautiful is emails without HTML markup. Like, written text.

    @Kimmax I use desktop clients with no JavaScript add-on 🙄

    @h4xx3r so? Why care then? Do you think they won't be downwards compatible? Or opt-Out?

    Smells like iframes

    Looks like you can opt out. Also, they have graceful fallback to html or text.

    The API calls can only happen to verified domains. Let's see.
