Will we get CRISPR with VIM-keybindings.

Highly doubt it since it was proven that human antibodies work against crispr too and its very rare for it to actually work.

Dunno. Judging by the state of the world in general and the US in particular we have no idea what we need or want, so my guess is that this is just another hyper effective way of us going in the wrong direction. Like much of technology, it might just enhance our current flaws. Like, I'd rather see us smacking each other's with sticks instead of a-bombs...

It can be used for good if we know what the fuck we're doing, but I don't think technology will save us.

Next-gen programmers will more likely have no clue about what's going on under the hood any more.
    It has already started...

Actually it works well -- too well. I know Eric Kimec very well and have been invited to his lab to see how all of this works and it is fuc!*ng Terrifying. If a government decides to use this technology to develop a biological weapon we are all done for.

Sorry to be such a downer on a Friday but it is true. Hopefully we will be protected by a higher power.

On the other hand it is really effective on certain Cancers and Sickel cell

Joe Rogan has an awesome guest on his podcast, who talks about CRISPR.

Doctor David Sinclair, who is working on anti ageing treatments.
