Agree with @Alice
What's 'maintenance'? Do you develop it? Or just make sure that shit doesn't hit the fan?
A simple CMS-like website? (Wordpress, Joomla) Or a more custom-built solution? Like a PHP application built by a developer? Where does the application run? On a server environment like Linux? Do you have SSH access to it or is there some kind of admin interface that takes care of that for you?
How much experience do you have in IT? What would you deem 'difficult' ? -
@Alice well a friend of mine has a website and he wants me to maintain it, doing a couple of changes monthly and upgrading the site info
-
@alexbrooklyn well the site is built on Joomla, and how I told Alice, he just want that I make some changes monthly... But the problem is that I've never done that before as a freelancer... So I don't know how much money can I get doing that
-
@Alice well, I guess my friend has to give me more information about what exactly he wants
-
@Vanegas9090 Does he know anything about developing applications? Or maintaining them in that regard. Does it 'work' or is it bug-riddled?
-
@alexbrooklyn well not exactly, he doesn't know anything about IT, and the website it's working very well at this moment
-
Sounds like a death trap tbh, but I only have a limited view on your situation so I can't make a full judgement
-
@Alice I got it, well I think it's not a good idea working on that project 😅😅
Guys I need help, I've never worked with the maintenance of a website before... And I don't know how much money can I get doing that
