Anyone else just not care if you use GitHub or GitLab? Competition is a good thing.

    Nope. It all does the same thing: bitbucket, gitlab, github, self-hosted solution..etc

    What matters is how you really practise and applied version control to your project.. IMO.

    Basically it doesn’t mattere. But the difference today are the secondary things like Issue tracking, Kanban-Boards (or similar), CI/CD and so on. And there is currently a big difference between the tools

    I think GitHub UI is somewhat cleaner and faster. Also GitHub is better if you're doing open source (only because every other open source project is on GitHub)

    I prefer to make a new copy of my code after every minor change. Fuck Git

    I use github, gitlab, bitbucket all :D everything works same way. But I love CI/CD of gitlab <3
