Looks great. Out of curiosity (not really a fan of beer), how is it done? (An article or something that you used would do)

@RememberMe I got a Northern Brewer starter kit, which comes with a guide: https://northernbrewer.com/blogs/...
@karma I got the Northern Brewer caribou slobber recipe. -
@Gogeta70 My bad, it's kvass (double s) :)
It's a beverage, somewhat similar to beer. You take slices of bread, burn them, grind them, soak 'em in water w/ sugar and yeast, raisins, some additional flavours you like. Once yeasts have nearly finished and the taste is right, bottle it up and store in a fridge well corked (yeasts are still a lil active in there, once they broke one of my thickest bottles in there).
It has very little alco (up to 2%) and is vee-eeery nice to drink chilled, esp. when the day is hot.
It's a legacy from soviet days I really enjoy :) -
Damn that's quite fast, I spend 8 months on my mead (same brewing principles as beer) 😄
-
@Gogeta70 mainly because of my own recipe, but I'm brewing with wine yeast also, that have something to do with it and love 😂

@tofonion isn't hooch a different thing, supposed to be strong? Kvass should never be strong. It is classified as non-alcoholic afterall

@MeadCoder Well gentlemen (and ladies?), the beer turned out very good. I wish I had enough to send to you all :P

Drillan7674Thought about @Floydian while reading this 😂😂
So I'm trying my hand at home brewing beer. I started my first batch 2 weeks ago, and finally bottled it last night. It should be ready in another 2 weeks! I can't wait to try it; it smells delicious 🍺
