    Nope.. I don't have that much free time to waste

    I did. And don't agree that it is a "waste" of time.

    @redman One man's waste another mans not-waste. Please don't quote me on that.

    @redman
    Personal LFS-build or actual project ?

    @ihatecomputers "Dude! We've talked about this... Stop checking other people's toilet!"

    I've always thought that would be a good way to learn about the internals of the kernel and the whole Linux ecosystem in general. I didn't realise people actually did though.

    Yes, but mostly for learning purposes

    I have some ideas floating around for meme distros but not the time/will to learn how to do it.

    Building your own version learns you a lot about its structure, how to create packages and more.

    @ihatecomputers No idea what you are talking about regarding quoting.

    @metamourge It is a CentOS/RHEL based personal project.

    I'm still trying to figure out lfs so I'm gonna go with no for now. But one day... maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Pointless. There are literally thousands of Failed Distros. Just use an already established one.

    I mean all you gotta do is install some programs, change the desktop background, and default bash prompt. Boom, new distro.
