Can someone tell me why the pokemon community is so damn mad at the moment?

Because Pokémon as a franchise is just a cash cow on repeat.
As a kid Pokémon was all the rage, but now, it's just the same shit over and over again.

@Alice really? Sorry but every game has been the same since day 1, granted we add some new Pokémon and change the map a bit but same old thing.

Instant repeat for years on end.

They made it so you can no longer transfer pokémon to this game that are not found in this region. So, there is no national dex and you can never catch'em all. Everyone has a favorite pokémon and only a few hundred get to see theirs in these games.

Well that's actually a step back, I can see why they're flippin tables.

@C0D4 nah pokemon stepped up their game (pun not intended) with every version. Loved every single one.
I read somewhere that the actual pokemon games generate not that much profit. Pokemon Go yielded 23 years worth of revenue for the console games.
