Why do people think that programming is easy? Like creating a website with everything seems to be so easy for people without knowledge...

Because of services like Wix et. al. and those people's complete and utter lack of knowlegde of what is actually going on there. "just drag some boxes after another, it really isn't that hard right?"

It is pretty easy nowadays to create websites with no code at all, that's why.
Then we can discuss about the quality output which is a total mess and the restricted freedom of feature development, but that's something most of the people don't even realize.

@N1LSS0N Thank you!! In real I've been a Devrant user for long time but I had to delete my account. That's a new one after some detachment :)

Because they don't know any better.

Imagine yourself seeing someone building a wall really quickly. You have no idea how to build a wall, but this guy does, and it looks like he is doing it fast and well. You will deduce that it's not that hard after a bit of training.

What they don't see is the learning itself. Because yes, building a site IS easy... after 10 years of practice. And practice is hard.

Is it easy? Well, it relatively is. Does it require a shitton of work, it also normally does. Unless you use one of those auto-generator tools so that your site looks like any other one.
