temperature wise or workplace wise? 😄

    both is true.
Norway has one of the highest wages and they work less hours than any other european country. If you love nature, hiking, boating and fishing norway is for you. The only thing that's not so fun is that not so much is happening and except for oslo, every norwegian city feels like a middle sized village.

The high wages are relative. They also have insane taxes because their public sector is totally bloated. Housing cost is incredibly high, especially given the at best mediocre quality of the buildings.

Also, the wage spread is less than in other EU countries. Cool for craftsmen and unskilled labour, less attractive for IT jobs that usually are highly paid.

Also, don't underestimate the winter season. It's remarkably dark already in Oslo, and that's southern Norway.

The aspect with nature and stuff is true, and it's great. Actually, it's THE reason for Norway. However, Oslo is far away from the nice places, and the travel duration in Norway is a lot higher than the air distance would suggest. Bergen is always rainy because of the mountains east of the coast, that sucks.

Trondheim hits quite a sweet spot and has also tech, the NTNU.

Also the relaxed work attitude is true and quite cool. Unless you're a customer or patient of course.

@Fast-Nop Norway is not in EU, though

The sea will keep Norway less cold during the winter compared to other places at the same latitude

@d4ng3r0u5 only if you buy it. Just making it out of pure sugar and yeast isn't uncommon in Norway.
