It would have taken way more impact if you had more experience to back it up, but then again, it is not like it can be really proven. I dig the article. It was nicely written and it conveys a very positive message. My only worry is that devs are assholes and it will prob get ignored on the basis of it not being written by an enterprise grade pro.

@mindev welcome back to php. 5.3 was a hellish time, 5.4... I wish didn't exist, and 5.6 kinda made life a little better with the drop of mysql_ extensions, although I have seen 7+ with a custom mysql_ wrapper over mysqli_ 😅someone didn't want to rewrite their code base....
