Recruiter: Hi practiseSafeHex, I’ve looked at your LinkedIn profile and you look like a perfect fit for my new client. The role is a lead Java developer with experience in .......

Me: Where on my profile have I listed or mentioned Java in any way?

LinkedIn Notification: a person who chose to remain anonymous, with the title “Recruiter” just viewed your profile.

Wow, I wonder who could it possibly be? I’m stumped!

Also probably the first time he did look. Getting fed up with these asshats

Checking couple of your previous rants and seeing some pattern, I wonder why you care so much for recruiters and things they say? 🤔

@myss I’m desperately trying to find a new job. Whenever they message me I think it might be cool, I see it’s irrelevant to me and then I die a little inside. Hence the rants

Makes sense then.. Good luck on your search though 🙂

They should have a horrendous death!!! And then the same recruiters bitch on LinkedIn saying stuff: " dev profiles are so entitled! Without us, you wouldn't have a job!"

So save a dev, kill a stupid recruiter/client.

    Beggars can’t be choosers.

Then again, who the fuck am I to talk? 😂

@Superviral ha, well this isn’t a case of being picky ... I’m severally under qualified for the role

I just made my resume (SQL DBA centric) available on indeed.. I got an email offering me a great opportunity as sales insurance rep as my skills seem to be a great fit.....

Under-qualified? Are they looking for 12 years VueJS experience by any chance? 🧐😂

Recruiters - useless ticket-clippers, same as real estate agents.

If I see a job advertised for a company both directly and through a recruiter, I will always apply directly - because fuck recruiters
