(Hopefully this is the meta rant to kill meta rants)

I'm fucking sick of devrant.

New users posting shit memes with the wrong tags.

But worse are old users complaining about said new users, or just beginner devs from other sites

Yes, some people need stack overflow every 5 minutes.
Not everyone has the capacity to understand every documentation.
Not every documentation is updated or entirely correct.
Not everyone has more than a year or two of experience.

Don't be part of the dumb circlejerk. Just complain about your bullshit boss, coworker or tech.

    Nobody is complaining about people using SO. We're complaining about the people that act like you can't do shit without SO.

    There's other forums that exists. There's documentation. There's other question asking sites.

    Just because SO goes down doesn't mean you have to go full tard and shut down completely.

    I miss the real, legitimate stories.
    I miss the real people.

    I'm tired of watered-down content and the flood of low-quality memes.

    Dumb dev shitheads are a fucking SOURCE of rants, and that some of these suckers have turned up at devRant is NO fucking reason not to complain. If anything, it's reason to kick them in their balls!

    Can confirm. My favorite style to write in is filled with my incompetent rage at life and everything.

    People seem to enjoy them, which is good enough for me.

    The memes piss me off though. Reminds me of redditification too much.
