@trogus wow you got my plan straight away haha. This is my first step towards VR. It's already expensive so I'll get a vive later at some point.

@tahnik It's not about overclocking at all (and yes, it shouldn't happen through software). I'm talking about silly stuff like fans blowing at full RPM when resuming from standby - that's kind of unacceptable to happen with an otherwise very solid $500 mobo.

@kamen I won't lie but that has happened to me before. This time it looks like they have polished their software a little so fingers crossed
