@IAmAnIssue the user it's for as no cash and I need it off my server :) so glitch will have to do.

@Rexzooly Take a look at Heroku. It's a way better option for Discord bots.

Sorry guys but that host is not better, they have a really bad name in every discord bot network I have seen, I not sure where you are getting your information from and if you can provide me some links I read them but most if not all places I been show how but state it's not a good idea, glitch is working fine and since fixed the changed from my own local node system and there's it was fine. But drop me some links or white paper I willing to learn more and willing to do my own side by side testing.

@Rexzooly Are you referring to Heroku?
If so, I heavily disagree. You definitely need a day to learn how to use it for Discord bots, but after that, it's nice.

The superior option however is a VPS. I'm currently simply using that.

I lurk a lot in the discord api support guild (DAPI for short). They have a tag explaining why heroku shouldn't be used (I believe it's ?tag whynoheroku). I personally haven't used it so I can't give a good opinion, but from what I've heard from others... no.

I think there's an entire paper somewhere there on why not to use glitch though.

The bot in question now as ran on glitch without a problem since this post so I can say glitch for your basic bot is 100% fine, maybe not OK for a new user to computers and wanting to make a little bot but to anyone that knows what there doing or can easily read up Glitch is good.

@PrivateGER You have the right to disagree but you are not wrong about the VPS or DS, my main bots run off my DS for new DevRanters I mean dedicated server.

Full control over platform or root access at lest is the much better option.
