@Biggy This is a problem with all the manufacturers and not only with laptops. Technology is simply more expensive in Europe than the US, and taxes are never enough to explain it.

So the $1800 can be without any taxes or other fees that are then added in checkout.
But in EU, or at least many eu countries, sales tax must bu included in the price listed. -
