    No hate here. Just found out Macs are finally useful. You are getting the Edge browser.

    Who cares, it's not 0) my 1) your money

    @C0D4 thanks :)

    @Demolishun my experience with edge is just not good.

    My current problem, which every browser since the dawn of browser time has had no issue in being able to deal with - 127.0.0.01 / 192.168.*.*

    @Demolishun pointless. Edge is going chromium based. I’ll just use chrome 😂

    I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed.

    @powerfulparadox that’s the lump in your throat quote when ya parents tell you off.

    @ngServe ooh iPad Pro.
    Well ok, if you're going to have one of those, I'll respect your Apple elitism

    @C0D4 I am an Apple sheep. But give zero fucks lol. Waiting for the new Watch series 5 to be released so I can order it.
  • 3
    @ngServe I don't like the Macs and the watch is overkill for my needs.

    But the iPhone/iPad I prefer over the competition.
  • 2
    @C0D4 iPad is my daily driver for meetings and wireframes with the pencil. Nothing can compete. I build Angular/NativeScript and Swift iOS apps as part of my job so. Mac is essential.

    I’ve been an Apple user since 2009. I tried a Dell XPS 9550 (running Mint) and I own a Lenovo P51 (also running mint) but they can’t compete in terms of features and reliability compared to a mbp 👌🏻

    If the company's paying for it and you can run something other than macOS on it, it should be fine...
  • 4
    @kamen why would I want to run something other than macOS. 99% of the stuff you can do on a Linux machine can be done on a Mac. But a lot of stuff I do on my Mac can only be done on a Mac.

    @ngServe It had terrible window management last time I tried it and probably still does.
  • 4
    @ngServe I heard MBP i9 throttles a lot tho, MBP is still nice to have rxcept the i9 version imo

    And here am i, trying hard to afford a 13" 2017 256gb and still cant afford it

    I froth them for work. Super productive and build quality is excellent... nice beast you ordered! I don’t have that much coin and I’m almost out of kidneys haha.

    @SukMikeHok Sounds like you need a better job or fewer expenses.

    My office just got a bunch of new MacBook pro. Biggest what the fuck moments were "why is my escape key on a touch screen above my keyboard" and "how has this touch screen not exploded from how hot this thing gets". I don't imagine it lasting very long because of the heat.

    I want your job
  • 2
    Seeing how you like to spend money, I'm not giving you my hate for free. You have to pay a "premium price" for it.
  • 1
    @kamen I’m already using a 2017 13” mbp so for me it’s no different . Just faster :)
  • 2
    @badcopnodonuts work have a new device every 2 years scheme :)
  • 1
    @smirving work paid for it.
  • 1
    @beegC0de I’ve had a 2017 mbp for 2 years. Agreed it gets hot but has been faultless. Just slower than I need
  • 1
    @Jilano I didn’t pay for it
  • 2
    Why no comments on the 5ghz joke ???

    Shouldn‘t be hard to get a real computer for the money

    The problem is the new line of MBP will be redesigned in 2020…

    @M1sf3t Maybe not terrible. I'm just too used to what it's like in Windows. I don't like how in macOS a maximised window doesn't really take the full screen (you can't just point your cursor to the top of the screen to drag the window around because that's where the menu bar is) and if you make it full screen, it goes to another virtual desktop (thus you can't have a full screen window and a smaller window in the same view, which is IMO quite idiotic). I don't like how hard it is to snap windows to the sides of the screen, again forcing you to move them to a separate VD, otherwise (if they're not snapped to the sides) assuming that they're just floating around wasting space. All this might've changed since I last used macOS, but I still feel it might just not be for me (and that a Linux DE could adapt better to my needs if I have the time to tinker around).

    @kamen macOS multi screen “virtual desktop” is one of the most superior things about it. I literally have 7-8 Virtual Desktops per screen and triple screens....

    @noogli because it turbo boosts to 5Ghz... doesn’t need commenting. Works perfectly fine
