@Fast-Nop @C0D4 I've had applications behave very strangely where restarting the applications didn't have any positive effect, but rebooting Windows did. Born to Re Boot.. it's no reason to claim that Windows does it for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if that's actually the case. Windows and long-term stability don't go together very well.

on the topic of eclipse, how can I convince a friend to switch from eclipse to IntelliJ?

I remember back in my young stupid years (propably 6 years ago) I had a problem with eclipse as well.
On my old trusty XP i wanted to install eclipse cuz minecraft modding cool. I couldnt even install it CUZ THE EXTRACTION PATH WAS TOO LONG like WFT you have so many folders that win cp 32x just refuses to fucking extract your folders...
