Don't most places refer to your grade level as "year x"?
Like ik in the states we say "third grade," but I always thought most places used "year x."
Because year 3 as a grade level would make more sense, assuming it's like a 8-9 year old (age range for our third grade) vs a 3 year old -

I'm used to "third grade" instead of "year 3".
I thought it was just a bad sentence structure by the poster. -

Are kids these days that smart?! I can't imagine a 3 yr old being able to communicate properly or let alone sit still to learn something properly.
