I fucking hate it when Java programmers hate on Python programmers! They believe Java is superb while Python is flawed. They talk about speed, speed, speed and speed!

@Fast-Nop There are WordPress Developers who are really good with PHP. It'd be bad to stereotype all WP developers as wannabes.

Java is better for my use-cases. Python is better for your use-cases.

I won't be jamming Java down your thoat for your use-cases if you don't start bragging how Python is an almighty tool and I should be using it instead.

And honestly they do basically every single thing wrong. Try not to listen to them.

I don't even get why someone would identify by the language he is currently using. I just use what's best for the task at hand and is understood by the people in my team.

I don't give a shit bout speed in this case, as C# is literally java but faster
But as long as anonymous functions (lambdas) aren't allowed to span multiple lines, no restrictions will convince me that Python supports clarity.

My work requires me to work with both Java and Python and I've created lots of amalgamated pieces of code using Java and Python. To me, a combination is the best of both worlds. It's the simplicity of writing Python scripts quickly and the speed of java codes working. I don't get why people with the knowledge of one judge the other and pile up unnecessary hate.

@Makenshi Everyone really should avoid WordPress, though. It's a security and performance nightmare.

@Root It has become worse with Gutenberg that makes it even MORE difficult to make a properly structured website, just like all sitebuilder crap since the days of Frontpage.

I can't tell you how happy I was and continue to be that I didn't trust WP for my web project. Everything I feared would have come true. It's so pleasing to see shit unfold as casual bystander. :-)
