If ur domain is registered in your name then perhaps they looking up that domain reg and using info there to attack.

On my site, the topmost 404 is wp-login.php - and it has never been using WP because initially, I didn't know enough to use WP, and then I knew enough not to use WP.

@Fast-Nop Yeah, when I updated my linkedin to my current employer I started getting spammed at my work email. I figured it must be because they harvest my name and figure out the email address from that. So I misspelled my linked in and the spam died down. Yeah, if I had known I would have asked work to use a different name for my email. Too late now...

@Root I have something like that in my website. If a login is not successful I add their IP address to HTACCESS immediately. This lady/gentleman is using my real name from different IP addresses.

@FuckJava can you trace the ip address, there are some services that will give you the exact address from an IP look up. I mention it because these so called hackers don't seem very sophisticated and are probably people that you know who have limited technical skills.

Wait, what if you built or used a time machine in the future. Your future self it trying to hack your website to tell you something and you keep blocking your future self. Thus causing a time loop that will never end.
