I don't blame them if they are. But this is probably just the media fear mongering. We all know how much the media in the US is anti 2nd amendment.

I mean, that's just Tuesday right? I've got a small armory in my safe.

Yes and no. If the media is screaming that the sky is falling and that civilization is about to collapse, I bet the idea would pass through anyone's mind. More pragmatically, if you already have some and you think acquiring more might become difficult, you might stock up for that rainy day. But, while some of that is going on, there is no panic over it like there is over toilet paper.

So being a canadian i did the same.. but slight difference. Went to the store chose a gun paid for it. Clerck said i should have it in the next 6 to 9 months..
Went to get ammo. 3 week way period... So let make sure the apocalypse is like in 10 months

@Root a $14 box of 9mm costs $30 at my local gun shop. Not even gouging, just the price they can get it for. Should have seen my eyes light up when I walked into my big box store and they had over a dozen boxes on the shelf.

At least with all the first time owners, they're starting to realize how retarded some of the laws are. Hopefully it'll help spark some change.

@Stuxnet Sadly, the most vocal aren’t ever going to be gun owners, or even have an idea as to what the laws are. They just scream autistically about how anyone can buy a fully automatic assault rifle with incendiary heat-seeking bullets and have it delivered to their front door.
