Hey guys, How do you share SQL queries with your teammates? The legacy notepad/email?

    SQL Queries? That’s a thing I haven’t heared in ages. ORM all the way!

    I usually write it on a napkin with a pencil and take a photo.

    Just whatever chat app we're on. When I want to stash a query in a somewhat organized fashion for later reference I use pastebin. Latter almost never happens; If I made a huge complex query that has to be saved it likely means it's so janky I don't know why it works.

    If you don't use Slack, Mattermost or Teams, then maybe Github / Gitlab snippets?

    Depends on length; less than 20 lines can be pasted in the email directly. More than that and it goes in a text file as an attachment. Outlook/Word can sometimes turn ' into ‘ and "" into “” which confuses the query engine.
