For me that's not even the worst part. It's that they removed every single type of port that I'm currently using in my workflow. Every. Single. Port. Oh, except for the headphones. I used HDMI, all the USB ports, Display/thunderbolt2 ports, and sd card slot. Whelp, time to get a real Linux machine now.

Macbook Pro - No ESC key?
Its not like its used much in vi or emacs anyway is it?
No esc key on a unix box? Seriously?
I know its got a 'soft' escape key - hows it going to know to switch to that if i run vi or emacs -nw in an ssh session?
Mac keyboards go from bad to worse - used to be a nightmare to find a | symbol.
