Still pissed apple didn't release a new MacBook Air yesterday! Anyways, on my way to get my first ever MacBook (newest Air model with 8Gb).
I'm so hyped ☺️

But is it gonna cut for development? I asked some users and they said it's not enough for VM or heavy softwares

I just need it as a more mobile device than my gaming notebook. That being said, it will run eclipse (for my main tasks) and other IDEs without a problem and even do office tasks.
I don't need VM's for my work so I cannot tell you sth about that sorry

@samson just in case you wondering, i run Android studio, emulators, unity, almost all intellij ides, brackets, vagrant, docker, kubernetes, and tensorflow computation work on it. No problem running any 3 of them in parrallel
