Schools in India be like - "We teach CS from 3rd grade!"

Me: "Name a few programing languages"
3rd grade student: "Basic, cobol, pascal..."
Me: (thinking) "Am I in stone age...?"

    From my experience, people who start with low level languages are usually more efficient coders later while the tryhard c# junkies cant even write proper loops

    @Haxk20 you can do a lot of shit in those languages.. it also help to learn syntaxes. C is almost a must to learn / understand for any dev.

    Im a freshmen in high school and I have programming next semester, which is cool, except for the fact that they teach basic #kms

    But teaching in uni is not that much about syntax of languages as it's about learning the concepts so you can master any language you would like to with ease
