Wow would you explain hyperthreading x2 ? Never heard of it nor seen an intel with 6 cores and 24 threads.

@provector oh what I meant is that it has 2 CPUs where each one has 6 cores which equates to 12 physical cores overall. Slap hyperthreading know top and we're up to 24.

@tekhouse the reason why installed windows alongside of Linux is so my other half can work on her 3d modelling and animation stuff.

Got it for £120 on eBay (except for the ssd and gpu). Still missing a sound card :(
I have no idea on what to use it yet except for development but I thought it'd be cool to build a pretty good "desktop pc" for around £350-£400.
