My company's server has one password and everyone knows it. Everyone uses the same key.

For our servers you must use a private key and password combo for each DevOps user (there are two).

Each developer gets a private key with access only to to the git repo.

I sent this to a friend and he admitted to doing the same AND teaching that to the interns.

Yeah, there was a lot of one-way swearing involved in that conversation.

What about using a password for the key.

Can we use a key for the key 😃 ?

I thought of using the yubico 2fa key to authorise my key for ssh ( at 2:00 ). Fell asleep while reading the docs 🥴. Didn't bother to look again the other day cuz' lots of college work and, work work 😭
