@Stuxnet That cam is in the U.S., I am in Austria, and I have no interest in ever going to the U.S.
-
Cvrsor2664yYou could let them know and offer a solution for good karma.
As technology experts it is our duty to educate the less informed. -
@BGordley I have no idea how to let them know. The webcam isn't linked to a site.
-
Cvrsor2664y@kescherRant Ah I see. The process of figuring that out would probably be even more questionable lol.
-
@Stuxnet technically they are giving the public permission to view the stream. How the court would interpret the situation has little to do with the technical reality, of course.
It's the same situation as walking in a forest topless and suing the purple you may come across if they look at your tits. Except that walking in the forest is made illegal. -
@Ranchu I really don't give a shit about the legal stuff, I'm not even in the same country and I want to watch doggos

"Their webcams are left open intentionally and can be found on their site as well"
-
@GyroGearloose They are. Visit their website, the webcams are open by intention. I only found out these cams belonged to them by seeing a shadow of their logo at https://doggos.kescher.at/wc-lazy-l...

Also Git repo for the mjpeg proxy, as original author incorporated my changes: https://github.com/vvdic/...
Ever wanted to have a live webcam stream from a room at a dog shelter somewhere in the U.S.?

Done using https://git.kescher.at/jeremy.kesch... :)
Yeah that stream is a webcam they left publicly accessible. Probably on accident, but who cares.
