kamen69824yProbably it's intended to stay this way. I bet it's an outdoor movie studio, maybe they only need to pave the roads. Imagine what a waste it would be actually constructing a whole building when all you need it for is its front side seen from the street.

Jedidja10144y@Stuxnet last time this was posted someone mentioned protected historical houses (listed buildings? dunno how they're called) where you are not allowed to remove the front, but can remove everything inside

Where I'm from downtown is the only part that has historical buildings like that and it's at the point that they shaped the look of it. Completely understand wanting to preserve the look while still being a little modern. -

Nice. I like that aproach. It is like replacing a PHP backend with some ultra-parallel Erlang OTP stuff and nobody notices apart from the speed gain when the system is under heavy load...
