One of the worst support threads I've come across.

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...

Context: Trying to open a transparent image that is mainly black. But not being able to see it due to the default black background.

It's like they have a tempale for responses.

Hi, Sorry you have encountered problems with <app>

    Try the following steps:
    1. Reinstall <app>
    ...

It's Just sad. I would consider an OS not production ready if it's got issues with displaying images properly... Lol

@DeveloperACE I don't think that they are engineers who are replying. They are just Skype chat bots

I hate that forum. Besides the horrible UX, the replies are all template responses. Hate such forums.

The first post by Mr. Manjhi on page three definitely indicates to me that he's a real person. He apologizes and then argues it must be a driver issue instead of a photo app bug because 'viewing pngs' works just fine on his machine.

The 'workaround' people use is to just use another app that has a white background by default. And then Mr. Manjhi is like "oh cool, you fixed the Photo App bug by using a different app? Looks like your driver problem must be fixed. Have a good day!"

This is both hilarious and sad at the same time. Cannot be described otherwise.

Next reply: I am sorry, I am not qualified and not paid enough to give a sh*t about you problem...
