    Pretty sure that's like, destruction of company property.

    Walk them out of the building - always.

    When you fire a hacker... Think twice.

    @Jumpshot44 yeah, though that wont do when firing programmers, cause they have already hidden all kinds of "easter eggs" throughout the entire code base...atleast I have ;-)

    When you try to guess my wifi password... Think twice.

    @Letmecode unfortunately this image isn't mine. I don't know the story behind it. Sorry.

    When you try to take the last hotdog from the company BBQ that was clearly set aside for me... Think twice.

    I really want to put a heatsink on my router now

    I vaguely remember someone claiming the image was theirs and that they were moving the switch and as opposed to taking out the cables with the super annoying tabs he cut the cables to do it at his desk later

    @aquaman Dude! WTF?!? That guy to the right thinks hes so 31337 that he's got his f-ing PS/2 mouse in his ear! Nice flashback from the 90's though 😬

    @Hakash that's because he is always plugged into the network, man. He doesn't just point and click his way through the mainframe. He is the mainframe.

    It's so easy to destroy than to create..scumbag entropy..

    If they're the kinda person that would happily commit severe damage to company property, I think the company can afford to let them go. I'd be surprised if the company didn't also hit them with a lawsuit.

    I've done this before. Not from being fired, but to replace 3x48 port switches restructuring a network.

    @aquaman what is this?
  • 2
    @ericdev idk which comment you mentioned, there is no way for me to jump to it. I posted a l33t crew, a router with a heatsink and a tactical hotdog

    "A network cable has been unplugged."
  • 2
    @kwilliams "unplugged.."
  • 11
    Support: "u sure the cable's plugged in?"
    User : "yeah, theyre plugged in...sort of"

    I can see what happened here... They used lockable cables, who require a small plastic key to unlock. They fumbled away with the key, and when its time to decommision the equipment, they had to go with the pliers.

    This person definitely went to prison.

    On behalf of all sysadmin, we know those plug back into a router. Easy.
