My boss was gossiping about all the staffs except me and the other person who was listening to him. I was coding and not part of the conversation.

What do you guys think, is he fit to be a boss and a leader?

He probably also gossips about you to other employees

It is similar to this situation:
In you have a job interview and they trash talk old employees or existing one, you should stand up and go.
They don't appreciate you the person in the slightest, and that is doomed to be a bad work envoirement.

I'd say he's not suited to be a boss nor a leader. Sounds more like an asshole to me.
